Abstract
Photomedia installation, with found and donated photographs, and ethnopoetry. Over the Ditch explores the experiences of seven gay men from Australia and New Zealand who hopped over the ditch between 1931 and 2014. Many of these men wrote diaries, stories and blogs of their journeys. These texts are rendered as poetic verse combined with images to add layers to our sense of their experiences.
