    Abstract

![CDATA[Oztag is one of the newest and fastest-growing sports in Australia and has also become very popular in a number of other countries such as New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Ireland, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United States and Japan. These countries are all embracing the sport and are at the developmental stage called tag rugby, with AUstralia leading the way in this innovative and fast-paced game. Oztag is used in training in rugby league and rugby union to develop players' speed, passing and decision-making, as they are able to practise tactical plays and train for speed and agility without risking incurring the injuries that are caused by tackling.]]
