Abstract

What does this paper contribute to the wider global clinical community? • Nursing students reported that having a bioscientist teaching nursing content increased their knowledge of patient conditions. • Explicit connections between pathophysiology and nursing practice are beneficial to improving student’s knowledge and confidence for patient care.
