N2 - Two matrix-pencil methods have been compared with the MODE method, for a wide range of scenarios, when a single measurement of data is available. It has been observed that the FB-MEMP method slightly outperforms the MODE, in some scenarios. Real processing of a complex covariance matrix for 2-D frequency estimation is also discussed.
