Abstract
The effectiveness of conventional drinking water treatment such as the use of activated carbon (AC) for pesticide removal in the presence of dissolved organic material is addressed. The motivation is the concern over the possibility of pesticide entering the aquatic environment and contaminating drinking water at source. s-Triazine pesticides are considered for study. Details of the study are presented and the results are discussed.
