Abstract
Curator Lisa Slade has assembled a collection of some three dozen early colonial paintings, drawings, prints and pieces of furniture, together with works by eleven contemporary artists" Brook Andrew, Fiona Hall, Narelle Jubelin, Fiona MacDonald, Danie Mellor, Kate Rohde, Joan Ross, Sarah Smuts-Kennedy, Robyn Stacey, Imants Tillers and Louise Weaver" selected to reflect or comment upon, illuminate or extend the imagery and meanings of the historical material.
