    Abstract

    The centerpiece of quality workshops is guided learning through a balance of group activities and facilitator input. Preferably, a variety of presentation modes are used so that the material is accessed via different learning pathways. It is imperative that the facilitator prepare adequately so that the workshop runs smoothly, is interesting, and targets the appropriate educational level for the participants. This article provides teaching tips on how to prepare for and conduct well-structured, quality workshops.
