Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to review theory, research, and practice concerning police interviews with the crime suspects. The chapter illustrates how knowledge of psychology and suspect behavior can contribute to the planning and execution of suspect interviews in order to maximize the quantity, quality, and reliability of information obtained.
