Abstract
In many countries, and across various spheres of education, practitioner research is gaining a reputation as a valuable endeavour for educators in schools and early childhood settings. This is because evidence from practitioner researchers using a range of approaches is increasingly showing how it can come to be a sustainable practice in the longer term; an effective way for educators to work collaboratively"”often with university academics, to gain new knowledge; and a valuable, practical way to address local issues and questions.
