Abstract

Primitive Minimals and My Only Friend were new musical compositions and improvisations performed live by DNIG! and three members of the Sydney Youth Orchestra on 1st and 8th October 2017. These were special performances conducted as part of the CoLABS art event at Bungarribee Park (29th September" 8th October 2017). The musical compositions and performances were designed to accompany Rhythmotron - a robotic drum-machine housed in an upright piano that was built as an interarts installation for CoLABS.
