Abstract
Prof. Matthew Colless, Director of the Anglo-Australian Observatory and Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, is internationally recognized for his leadership of the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey. But how did he go from using a simple telescope as a boy, to mapping the universe and uncovering the key cosmological parameters to advance our understanding of the universe? Interview by Ragbir Bhathal.
