Project EPIC: Investigating Action Research as Teacher Professional Development

Research output: Book/Research ReportResearch report

Abstract

This report provides a research evaluation of the Project EPIC professional learning program (2020-2021) that provided participants with specific training in action research methodology and required them to work either individually or in teams to develop, conduct and evaluate action research within their school contexts. The research explores the changes in teacher practices and perceived student engagement that occurred as a result of the individual or collaborative action research undertaken by individuals and groups. The research findings will inform the facilitators of Project EPIC of the impact of using action research methodology as teacher professional learning.
