Abstract
Community renewal programs have become increasingly prominent in housing agencies across Australia and New Zealand over the last decade. Michael Darcy and Deborah Georgiou draw on their experience, and interviews with several housing providers, to identify what these programs entail, the professional development needs of staff involved, and some of the strategies being used by housing authorities to meet those needs.
