Abstract
As nurses, managers and leaders we are challenged to critically evaluate working practices. While sound fiscal and resource management is required in health, it is crucial to not lose sight of the value of our human resources. To this end, we need to address the effects of workplace stress on staff at all levels, to implement new strategies that could reduce stress and improve quality of work life.
