The New South Wales (NSW) State Government holds large tracts of public housingandpubliclandinthe area. WithintheSydney MetropolitanStrategy(see Figure1),acitylevel strategic planning document, Redfern/Waterloo is located squarely within the "global economic corridor" of "Global Sydney" (NSW Government, 2013a, p. 4).
