Abstract
Rehabilitation is all about partnerships; those between clients and therapists (in nursing, medicine and allied health), therapists and therapists, and family and therapists. Without partnerships, rehabilitation becomes one-sided and the strongest person takes the lead – and with clients recovering from illness or trauma, the strongest person isn’t likely to be them.
