Abstract
![CDATA[Muslims are often stereotyped as having rigid, fundamentalist attitudes. These views have largely been the result of media portrayals of Muslims, in light of international and national events. To date, studies have not examined the degree to which Muslims endorse a questing approach to religion, thus displaying openness to the exploration of religious practices and beliefs. This quantitative research paper explores Muslim faith maturity, as measured by previous researchers, while introducing a newly developed and validated measure, the Islamic Reflection Scale, to test religious reflection of Muslims living in Australia, and Muslims living in Malaysia. The findings of the study gives rise to the issue of using existing scales on Muslim populations, and will add to the understanding of religious maturity of the Muslim people in the study.]]
