Abstract

Reactivation of hepatitis B (HBV) is a well-documented risk associated with certain immunosuppressive drugs. Baricitinib, a janus kinase inhibitor, and tocilizumab, an interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor antagonist, are immunomodulatory drugs which have been used with systemic corticosteroids as short course treatment of patients with moderate to severe COVID-19.
