Abstract
Scribbly Gum II is one of three pieces written under the spell of single line compositions by Ross Edwards, Howard Skempton and three photographs of scribbly gum trunks taken by Lynne Mathew. The pieces explore the textures of the bark and the art of writing for unaccompanied single line instruments.
