Section 1 : conceptualizing and redefining multimodal composition and digital writing

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapter

Abstract

What has the research told us about the use of multimodal composition and digital writing? How have students and teachers used such tools and what were the outcomes? How has the theory and the empirical research helped us define these terms? Finally, how should we as a field be rethinking these concepts as we move forward? This first section of the book highlights research that helps us explore our current understanding of multimodal composition and digital writing. It also provides insight into new ways to consider the concepts and their uses in various contexts.
