Abstract
Despite advances in the development of evidence-based interventions for child anxiety, dissemination and uptake of these interventions within the community remain suboptimal. The objective of this chapter is to examine innovative approaches in the use of self-help interventions for anxiety in children and adolescents. In particular, the evidence base for both bibliotherapy and computer-based interventions will be reviewed, with a focus on implications for clinicians in their own practice.
