Abstract
We report a case of severe pneumonia in a previously healthy 3-year-old girl of European background. Non-multiresistant methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) was isolated from her sputum, and she was treated with intravenous vancomycin, followed by oral rifampicin and fusidic acid.
