Small business : a review of training evaluation and effectiveness

Scott Holmes, Garry Butler, Jodie Lennon

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapter

    Abstract

![CDATA[This chapter continues on from the previous chapter and provides information concerning the evaluation of programs directed toward the small business sector. The review indicates that there is limited public information on the effectiveness of small business training programs, or on the frequency, form and outcomes of any course evaluations. This motivated a survey of 100 training providers seeking feedback on evaluation issues. The information presented in these two chapters leads to several recommendations for policy consideration, which are presented at the end of this chapter.]]
