    Abstract

Performing High Voltage (I-IV) maintenance with a multi craft work force creates a special set of safbty circumstances. In addition, this paper aims to present vital information when assessing the soil structure and its implication on the earth grid of the substation. A case study is investigated to show the importance of taking into account of safety issue at the design level.
