Abstract
Based on the theory of stability of manifold, this paper discuss the stability problem for the manifold of equilibrium states of linear nonholonomic systems. Some criteria of stability for the manifold of equilibrium states of conservative and gyroscopic systems with linear nonholonomic constraints are obtained.
