Abstract
Staying Grounded, for bass trombone and piano, by Diana Blom, was originally written for tenor trombone and piano. The piece is a tribute to the Bee Gees and to the sounds of the trombone itself. With advice from Adrian Sherriff, the work has been transformed for bass trombone and piano. Adrian Sherriff (bass trombone) and Kevin Tamanini (piano) gave the first performance in April 2024.
