Abstract

It emphasises the importance of trust and collaboration among key stakeholders, including event managers, security personnel, and public officials. The chapter discusses the concept of cooperative crowding, where positive crowd behaviour is encouraged through shared understanding and strategic planning. By analysing incidents such as the Astroworld tragedy, the chapter highlights the need for proactive crowd management strategies to prevent deadly surges and ensure the safety of attendees.
