Research output: Book/Research ReportResearch report

Abstract

We carried out focus groups and individual interviews with a total of 42 first year students across different disciplines and campuses (including UWS College). This paper summarises a thematic analysis of the transcripts. The themes are grouped under three categories: institution- ”led aspects of technology, academic- ”led use of technology and student- ”led uses of technology. Below each summary comment there are some illustrative quotes. The final page lists the number of comments coded for each of the major themes identified.
