Supporting Indigenous Children to Learn: The use of Reading for Life in Barnardos Australia Learning Centres (Phase 2): Final Report

The key purpose of the project was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Reading for Life program implemented at Barnardos Yalmambirra Learning Centre in Wellington. To address this aim, a post-implementation qualitative approach was adopted. The qualitative study employed focus groups and interviews with: students participating in Reading for Life, their parents/carers, their teachers at the local school, and Barnardos staff including the Reading for Life tutors and managers.
