Abstract
Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary arteries s a rare and life-threatening defect, usually needing prompt surgical correction during infancy. We describe the case of a young asymptomatic patient with this defect who underwent surgical reimplantation despite the absence of signs of myocardial ischemia, due to the presence of proximal stenosis of the anomalous coronary artery.
