Abstract
As the construction industry drives towards sustainability, the recycling of Construction and Demolition waste has become paramount. Construction materials composed from recycled Construction and Demolition wastes have added to these sustainable practices. The use of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) has been explored to lead to a more sustainable future. This paper offers a cost-benefit analysis and a qualitative opinion survey on research conducted on recycled facilities and their practices. The paper first presents the literature findings and reports on the case in Australia based on several interviews conducted with recycled facilities operating in the Sydney region.
