Sustainable performance indicators in residential buildings

Abstract

In line with the promotion of sustainable development, improving the sustainability performance has become a pressing issue in the industry. This research study explores the importance of measuring sustainability in residential buildings. A set of sustainable performance indicators (SPI) focus on end-users are developed, by identifying and codifying the critical factors contributing to project sustainability. This paper can lead to future study on the solutions of improving projects' sustainable performance by focusing on these critical factors.
