    Abstract

Tablet computers provide an appropriate platform for delivering user-friendly computer-based healthcare support services to persons in their homes. These services may include collecting health related data, analysing data for health decision making, accessing health information and applications, and communicating with other persons concerning health matters. This paper will discuss the range of functionality involved in implementing these different usage modes and will provide some examples from current work.
