Abstract
This is one of five tangos by the composer for solo piano which explores groups of 5. It alternates between mysterious sections diriven by the left hand with strong, majestic sections in which both hands weave inner voice leading lines. Tango (September) has been recorded on the Wirripang label "Skins" by Janelle Carrigan.
