Abstract
Book review: Alain Badiou is no longer a stranger to anglophone audiences. The Century is the ninth of his works - collections of essays notwithstanding - to have made the arduous journey into English since his Manifesto For Philosophy first appeared in 1999. So, at least for English speaking audiences, Badiou barely scraped his way into the very epoch that his book pays homage.
