Abstract

![CDATA[Natural disaster-induced crises unleash the potentials for both destructive and positively creative forces. There is a body of opinions endorsing the transformational connotations of post-disaster business continuity and sustainability. While inevitable crisis events affect all industries, the tourism sector seems predominantly vulnerable due to its multidimensional consumption and production process; the interconnectivity of tourism networks between businesses, communities and individuals increases its vulnerability. This study examines the extant literature of the tourism crisis management and crafts an argument to extend the interdisciplinary scholarly discussions of sustainable business proposition in disasters’ aftermath.]]
