Abstract

The Act's implications will continue to unfold through the enduring persistence of statelessness across the nation, not only at India’s militarised border zones, and it will reinforce Hindu nationalist discourses on the cultural otherness of Muslims, as well as their supposed connection with terrorism and criminality.
