Abstract
![CDATA[Each Australian provider of an undergraduate degree in Construction Management (CM) has latitude in the mix of subjects that constitutes an offering. The regulation and accreditation of programs delivered by a multitude of Universities provides comfort to stakeholders that the minimum requirements of those individual bodies have been satisfied. This approach has been well served and has demonstrated evolution over the years. Indeed, recent investigations have taken place with well-qualified recommendations as to content and approach (Newton et al, 2011). Notwithstanding, there may be potential to investigate in more broadly based style to better define the uniqueness of our studies and the desired methods of teaching and learning in the field of CM. This paper builds on the intersection of curriculum with threshold concepts and as a means to define the ‘signature-agogy’ of CM. It is argued that reflecting on the ways of thinking and practicing (WTP) in CM may provide the framework for reviewing the best way to educate our future leaders. Suggestions are made with regard to incorporation of these principles in the broader overview of individual undergraduate programs.]]
