Faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is a highly effective treatment recommended by Australian2 and international expert guidelines for refractory, relapsing or recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection (rCDI). When compared with oral vancomycin, FMT could save $4000 and quality-adjusted life years per patient
