Abstract
The book deals with the changes in the European Union during the financial crisis of 2010-2017. The author describes the EU's stabilization mechanisms: the European Financial Stabilization Mechanism (EFSM), the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) and the European Stabilization Mechanism (ESM). The author follows the application of the mechanisms towards Greece, Ireland, Cyprus, Portugal and Spain. The negotiation will conclude with a proposal for the conceptual and legal integration of the mechanisms into the EU's economic policy coordination system.
