Abstract

The World Report on Disability identified the need to strengthen the evidence base for community-based rehabilitation (CBR). A collaborative multi-country project is being undertaken with the aim of creating a CBR monitoring toolkit and associated guidance materials. Analysis of literature illustrates the relevance of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) as a framework and classification that can be used in CBR monitoring.
