    Abstract

    Analysis of three cases before the International Court of Justice: Armed Activities on the Territory of the Congo (New Application: 2002) (Democratic Republic of the D.R.C v Rwanda); Certain Criminal Proceedings in France (Republic of the Congo v France); and Avena and other Mexican Nationals (Mexico v United States) - International Court of Justice's power to indicate provisional measures - legal basis for application - jurisdiction - how this power should be applied.
