As readers will be aware, the scholarly publishing landscape is undergoing rapid and significant transformation, presenting both challenges and opportunities. Key issues include the ongoing shift toward open access, the proliferation of predatory publishing practices, concerns surrounding research integrity, the evolution of peer review models, and particularly the emergence of artificial intelligence and its broader impact on publishing and research.
