Abstract

This chapter approaches restitution from a transformative justice perspective, illustrated with the example of an applied cultural memory project for human rights and justice at Parramatta Girls Home in Australia. It develops, through this case study, the original concept of the “restitutional assemblage,” theoreti cally modeled from analytical tools drawn from sociology, media, and memory studies.
