    Abstract

On February 8th 2009 reporter Andrew Bolt wrote an article for the Herald Sun, ââ"šÂ¬Ã‹Å“Truth can hurt, but Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢d rather hear itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢. The article arose from comments made by NSW Police Detective Superintendent Ken McKay that ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"Middle Eastern groups are involved in everything. If they didnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t invent it, they perfected it in terms of crime.ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ And ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"The criminal, in the Middle Eastern sense, is more cowardice (sic) than your general criminal. Theyââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢d rather use a gun than stand in a fist fight.ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚Â
