Abstract

In this chapter, we discuss the dynamic and crucial area of technology in disability and global health. This is timely given that in the past decade, technology has moved to centre‑stage in health and well‑being planning. The salience of technology is evident not only in high‑ and middle‑income countries and groups but also in low‑income countries and poor populations operating in resource‑constrained environments (Layton, Bell et al., 2020).
