Abstract

The rapid evolution of e-commerce is significantly influenced by the integration of microservices and cloud computing, yet a complex set of challenges arises from this integration, underscoring a critical gap in streamlined implementation and management. Existing studies have provided insights into individual aspects of this integration but lack a comprehensive approach to effectively navigate the intricacies involved. There is a need for a holistic framework that encompasses not only the technological aspects but also the strategic, operational, and managerial facets essential for optimizing e-commerce platforms. This research intends to fill this gap by offering a detailed taxonomy tailored for microservices architecture in cloud-based e-commerce platforms, ensuring businesses can seamlessly integrate, manage, and optimize these technologies to enhance scalability, flexibility, and customer experience amidst the rapidly changing digital commerce landscape.
