    Abstract

An analysis of two collinear antiplane cracks in inhomogeneous (functionally graded) anisotropic magnetoelectroelastic materials is presented. In designing components involving functionally graded materials, an important aspect of the problem is the fracture failure. The problem is formulated for transversely isotropic functionally graded magnetoelectroelastic materials. An integral transform is employed to reduce the problem to a singular integral equation that can be solved.
