Abstract

![CDATA[The problem of two-dimensional (2-D) H-infinity filtering is addressed in this paper for a class of discrete-time Fornasini-Marchesini systems. The underlying 2-D systems are integrated into arbitrary switching signals. First of all, the switched quadratic Lyapunov function and the piecewise Lyapunov function approach are utilized to propose some novel sufficient conditions such that the resultant filtering error dynamics is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H-infinity disturbance attenuation level. Secondly, a new 2-D H-infinity filter is designed for the Fornasini-Marchesini systems. Finally, the efficiency of the proposed 2-D H-infinity filter design method is shown by one illustrative example.]]
