Abstract

In this book, we explore migrant (including refugees) settlement in regional Australia rather than in the metropolitan cities of Australia’s east coast. This interdisciplinary book explored migrant settlement in regional Australia from a holistic perspective and offers readers a general overview of key issues surrounding migration to regional Australia, along with practical insights for developing effective policies that promote economic growth and social well-being for Australian regional communities and for migrants settling there. We hope that the book, as well as the individual contributions, contribute to the literature on migrant settlement in regional Australia.
